Product Description

The Rockwell 1734-CTMK Module is a compact Point I/O CTMK counter module designed for industrial automation applications. It features 2 high-speed pulse input channels supporting frequencies up to 1 MHz, each configurable for quadrature, up/down, or pulse-and-direction counting modes. The module integrates 2 discrete outputs for control signals and operates on a 24V DC power supply with a voltage range of 19.2–30V DC. It directly connects to the Allen-Bradley Point I/O system, supporting up to 16 modules per communication adapter. The 1734-CTMK communicates via EtherNet/IP or ControlNet protocols, enabling seamless integration with Rockwell ControlLogix and CompactLogix controllers. Suitable for manufacturing, packaging, and material handling industries, this module operates within -25°C to 70°C and offers high accuracy for motion control and encoder-based systems. Key advantages include DIN-rail mounting, LED status indicators, and software-configurable filtering, though it lacks isolated inputs.
